For five years, The Bestseller Fund has been dedicated to working with cultural heritage in India especially in Tranquebar. Our main partner when dealing with historical buildings and cultural heritage has been INTACH (The Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage), which aims at protecting and conserving India’s cultural heritage. INTACH is a non-profit membership organization nationwide.
A New Division in Tranquebar
In collaboration with INTACH Pondicherry, the Bestseller Fund has undertaken many projects in Tranquebar involving cultural heritage in Tranquebar. The Bestseller Fund and INTACH has set up an office in one of the restored houses in Goldsmith Street, and the next step is to make an independent INTACH division in Tranquebar.
