International Child Welfare Service is an independent Danish organization. It was established in 1974. The purpose of the organization is to support destitute children such as orphans, children from very poor families, and handicapped children. The support is given irrespectively of gender, nationality, race, religion or political views. ICWS supports children in institutions in India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Uganda, and Bulgaria.
100 % of the sponsorship money is used for the benefit of the children. All work is done by volunteers.
