BESTSELLER FUND newest initiatives in India is the Tranquebar Craft Resource Center (TCRC) which opened for the public in December 2009. The TCRC is a unique place for exhibitions, workshops and café where locals and tourist meet and learn about the regional craft and craft communities.
TCRC has a interesting and modern permanent exhibition and current craft products on display for visitors to browse through the beautiful hand work. Occasionally craft artisans will be working at the TCRC to interact with guests directly. The project workers at TCRC are aiming at opening a little craft shop at the center where visitors can buy little souvenirs of Tranquebar.
