We support social development in Denmark and abroad
The BESTSELLER FUND was established in 1995 as an independent charitable organization. Initially the foundation focused on supporting cultural activities and the restoration of older buildings in Denmark. However, in 2005 the foundation turned towards initiating development projects in third world countries, as a supplement to supporting cultural initiatives in Denmark.
Currently the general actives supported by the foundation are the preservation of cultural heritage sites and poverty eradication, such as protecting traditional craftsmanship or of empowerment of women through women’s groups, in India and China.
